Today we are launching a series of tips that lead to success in business and in life!
Focus on the solution, not the problem.
That’s a big difference between the successful ones and those who ultimately fail.
We all face, in our lives or careers, small or big problems.
Fear, insecurity, and often panic are some of the negative emotions that born and develop at geometric rate when a problem arises. According to research, successful people, focus 10% of their attention on the problem to assess the situation, collect the data, and then focus 90% on the possible solutions. People who don’t succeed in life do exactly the opposite. They mock “the evil that has befallen them,” their misfortune, and do not seek a way out of the difficult situation.
As a rule, the more you don’t react, the worse things get, and so insecurity turns into panic. The person who acts in this way feels himself sinking. Even looking at it this way, if you don’t move your hands if you don’t kick the water, if you don’t manage the oxygen in your lungs, drowning is certain.
So the steps in any crisis are:
A) Stay calm. This is the only way to understand the situation and have a chance to react.
Β) Rapid data collection. See what is prevailing, what damage has been done, what is being fixed, and what the possible solutions are.
C) Action. Of course, it’s not enough to just observe, but it’s essential to act with a plan and wisdom. Be ready to make corrective moves, so you should also have an alternative plan.
If you do all these things, you’ll see that you’ll train your brain to dismiss fear and focus on solutions. Thus, success will soon follow.
